About

We built AgencyGrid because agencies deserve better than spreadsheets

AgencyGrid is the operations console for insurance agencies: a ground-up, multi-tenant rebuild that consolidates the ideas of several prior platforms onto one modern stack, with real carrier SFTP ingestion as the capability that ties it all together.

Insurance agencies drown in carrier spreadsheets. Book-of-business and commission files arrive from every carrier in a different layout, get pasted into workbooks, and are stitched together by hand each month. Hierarchy, commissions, overrides, and compliance each live in their own file, and none of them ever quite agree.

AgencyGrid exists to end that. Rather than patch another tool onto the pile, we rebuilt the agency operations console from the ground up, multi-tenant from day one, so the whole agency finally runs off one current source of truth.

A ground-up rebuild

AgencyGrid consolidates the concepts of several prior platforms (an agent management tool, a contracting workflow, and a policy portal) into a single, coherent product on a modern stack. Instead of three half-connected systems, there’s one console where hierarchy, book of business, commissions, contracting, and compliance share the same data.

Being multi-tenant from the start matters: it means isolation, auditing, and scale were designed in, not retrofitted later.

The flagship: real SFTP ingestion

The capability at the center of AgencyGrid is one the prior platforms talked about but never truly shipped: real carrier SFTP integration. Agencies connect carrier SFTP credentials, a scheduled worker downloads book-of-business and commission files, maps and normalizes them, matches rows to agents by NPN, and rolls everything up the hierarchy.

That one flow is what makes the rest possible. When book of business reporting is always current and always attributed, commissions, overrides, and reconciliation stop being monthly spreadsheet projects and become something the platform just keeps true.

  • Carrier SFTP credentials connected once
  • Files mapped, normalized, and matched to agents by NPN
  • Everything rolled up the hierarchy automatically

Who AgencyGrid is for

AgencyGrid is built for the agencies, MGAs, and IMOs that carry a downline: organizations with agents, uplines, overrides, and carrier relationships to keep straight. If your month is spent on commission reconciliation by hand, chasing shortfalls, and keeping an agency hierarchy accurate in a spreadsheet, this was built for you.

What we stand for

Built around one source of truth

Ingestion first

Real carrier SFTP feeds are the foundation, not an afterthought bolted on later.

Multi-tenant from day one

Isolation, auditing, and scale designed in from the start, not retrofitted.

One source of truth

Hierarchy, commissions, overrides, and compliance run off the same current data.

Built for the downline

FAQ

Common questions

What is AgencyGrid?

AgencyGrid is the operations console for insurance agencies. It pulls carrier book-of-business and commission files over SFTP, attributes each row to the writing agent, rolls everything up the hierarchy, and runs reporting, commissions, overrides, contracting, and compliance from one source of truth.

Why build a new platform instead of improving an old one?

The prior platforms were separate systems that never quite connected, and the one capability agencies needed most, real carrier SFTP ingestion, was never truly shipped. AgencyGrid is a ground-up, multi-tenant rebuild that consolidates those ideas and delivers ingestion as its flagship.

Who is AgencyGrid for?

It’s for insurance agencies, MGAs, and IMOs that manage a downline: anyone juggling agents, uplines, overrides, and carrier relationships across a pile of spreadsheets each month.

What makes the SFTP ingestion different?

It’s real and automated: agencies connect carrier credentials, and a scheduled worker downloads, maps, normalizes, and matches each file to agents by NPN. Because the book stays current on its own, everything downstream stays true without manual reconciliation.
